#8  Make a choice to either lay up short or go over the water with your drive.  The water angles across the fairway.  To the left side of the fairway you need a 200 yard carry to be safe. The right side is  140 yards from the tee to carry the water.   At least 180 yards straight away is needed to set up the perfect approach.  If you want to lay up short, hit slightly left only 150 yards from the tee for another 150 yard approach into the green which is closely guarded front and right by the same winding creek.
