Hidden Greens Golf Course is an 18-Hole public golf course built on a wooded State Game Refuge in Hastings, Minnesota. Conveniently located off of Highway 61, HGGC is a short drive from Twin Cities Metro areas of St. Paul, Woodbury, Burnsville, Rosemount, Apple Valley, and Red Wing. A short drive for our Wisconsin neighbors to the east including Hudson, Prescott, and River Falls. This course has been noted as an affordable escape for many golfers. You won’t be disturbed by traffic or airport noise. As you may note from our photo gallery, the peaceful surroundings at Hidden Greens include lush green grass, numerous shade trees, beautiful water holes, sand traps, and the frequent appearance of a doe and her fawns. Recently added is an outdoor paver patio and fire pit to relax by after golfing. No matter the level of golfer you are, this golf course is truly a relaxing escape for everyone! This championship course is a 6,300-yard, par 72 course, appeals to and challenges all levels of golfers with 3 sets of tees and a kids course. Everyone will feel at home here. Hidden Greens is family owned and built by the father-son team of Leonard and Al Swanson. In 1976 Hidden Greens Golf Course opened for business as a 9 hole golf course. The price for 9 holes was $2.50. Leonard and Al built the course on wooded pasture land with their own farm equipment. In 1985, the back 9 holes were added and today Hidden Greens offers a driving range, putting green, kids course, passbooks, a full bar, outdoor fire pit, patio with TV, and on weekends, an outdoor grilling service.

Hidden Greens North

Solon Springs, Wisconsin In 1994 Hidden Greens ventured north to Solon Springs, Wisconsin to build Hidden Greens North. It opened in the summer of 1995 and is a similar course to Hidden Greens in Hastings with fairways carved out of the woods, yet more challenging with rolling hills on most of the holes. One of the most unique features of the course is the double green, shared by holes 3 and 16. You can greet your fellow golfers on the back nine while you putt out. Like Hidden Greens in Hastings, Hidden Greens North has wildlife scamper though it daily, beautiful, scenic waterholes, and more. Hidden Greens North has a full bar and full kitchen offering homemade pizzas, Panini sandwiches, burgers, sweet potato fries, jalapeno poppers, and more. to learn more.
